Tensor is at the forefront of L4 autonomous vehicle technology, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in self-driving cars. We’re seeking motivated and innovative engineer join our perception team. In this role, you’ll contribute to the research and development of cutting-edge perception system.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain ISP pipelines for camera systems of autonomous driving.
  • Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate and fine-tune ISP algorithms.
  • Implement and optimize image processing algorithms, including demosaicing, noise reduction, white balance, HDR processing, etc.
  • Analyze and improve image quality metrics such as sharpness, color accuracy, and dynamic range.
  • Debug and resolve imaging issues related to ISP software and hardware interactions.
  • Stay updated with industry trends in computational photography and imaging technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in ISP software development or related fields.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for embedded software development.
  • Strong understanding of ISP pipelines, image processing algorithms, and camera sensor technologies.
  • Knowledge of computational photography techniques and deep learning applications in imaging.
  • Familiarity with hardware-accelerated image processing (e.g., GPU, DSP, FPGA).
  • Experience with real-time embedded systems and low-level programming.

Preferences

  • MS or PhD in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Computer Graphics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Deep expertise in computer vision and machine learning; stay up-to-date with the latest SOTA in these fields.
  • Track record of published research in top-tier computer vision conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, or other leading forums.
