We’re seeking talented and self-motivated engineers to join our LiDAR and broader sensor team.

Locations

  • San Jose, California, US (Salary Range: $75k—$300k USD)
  • Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement reliable C++ application software to support LiDAR development and testing.
  • Manage software packaging, dependency handling, and oversee the delivery pipeline.
  • Utilize Docker for application containerization, ensuring efficient deployment and scalability.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined software development processes.
  • Document software solutions and processes to facilitate smooth delivery and maintenance.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate software functionalities into broader systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in coding for production software applications.
  • Proficiency in C++ programming with a deep understanding of OOP and other paradigms.
  • Experience developing robust automation solutions in C++.
  • Strong familiarity with working in Linux environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with Docker for containerization and software distribution.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and experience with socket programming.

Preferences

  • Prior experience working on LiDAR systems or applications.
  • Comprehensive understanding of best practices in software delivery.
  • Proficiency in Python for developing internal tools and scripts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
