We’re seeking talented and motivated software engineers to join our compute platform team.

Locations

  • San Jose, California, US (Salary Range: $75k—$300k USD)

Responsibilities

  • Board bring up, Linux kernel configuration, driver updates, developing tests for hardware.
  • Work with hardware team to ensure software support that maximizes hardware capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware team.
  • Analyze and resolve/optimize system issues encountered during road tests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical or Computer science or a related field.
  • Strong programming experience in C/C++ , as well as hands-on experience debugging complex embedded software.
  • Base knowledge of peripherals and interfaces e.g., PCIe, SPI/UART/I2C, USB, Ethernet etc.
  • Demonstrated system software development experience including kernels, device drivers and board-support packages.
  • Strong innovation mindset, excellent learning ability, and capable of independently analyzing and solving problems.

Preferences

  • Familiar with Nvidia DriveOS or MDC Platform.
  • Background and strength with system-level (SW and HW) debugging.
  • Familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessor, and microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, memory controllers, DMA, etc.)
  • Familiarity with camera, display and audio.
