Locations

  • San Jose, California, US (Salary Range: $75k—$300k USD)

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage partner factories, conduct on-site inspections, recommend process improvement, and prepare detailed audit reports.
  • Supervise manufacturing activities, including verifying production process verification, ensuring compliance with local factory construction standards, and supporting compliance with policies and procurement initiatives.
  • Plan and oversee logistics operations for manufacturing, optimizing transportation, inventory, tariffs, and production flow to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Establish quality objectives for the manufacturing system, establish key control features, identify critical requirements, and deliver actionable recommendations to improve production processes and ensure high quality output.

Qualifications

  • Over 8 years of production management experience in complete vehicle manufacturing for a major automotive OEM.
  • Proven expertise in managing SKD projects, with comprehensive knowledge of the declaration process and experience in handling declarations for general assembly factories and overseeing SKD production qualification assembly.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Prior work experience with a major automotive OEM.
